On June 13, 2011, I purchased an art piece called “Fresh Air” via a Kickstarter Project created by James Franco and Praxis Art. I have yet to be delivered my artwork as of January 2, 2012 and my bank refunded my purchase. Ironically, all I am left with is fresh air.

Mr. Holga compiled this time lapse video of Big Tex being lifted into place at the State Fair of Texas. Big Tex was raised on Monday, September 26, 2011. The State Fair of Texas opens on Friday, September 30. Mr. Holga used a Nikon D7000 to capture the time lapse images. Mr. Holga is a staff art reporter and walkabout photographer for Dallas Art News.
