  1. As an artist, I have to be “aware” a little, and news of the world is one of the 3 magazines in accordance with this purpose. MedlinePlus is primarily used for: # 1, ads, ads that most, and I want to know what’s showing and where. # 2 shows the client (NY, national, international) for the same reason # 1, and the ads, which sometimes give a notice of contest is not available elsewhere.

regular departments are “ARTtalk” which is the lighter side of news, and National / International News “, which has more of a cut in business, obituaries, etc. Each issue has a

subject. “November 2001, for example, fashion design, with 3 articles on art and fashion, and a collection of sculptures by Mary McFadden. Also,” The new climate, the art after 9 / 11, a response to various artists lost $ 100 million in the art.
also includes a large section of new art books and the obligatory “Avante piece of art. There are too many” art “clash articles in this journal for my taste, so 4 stars instead of 5, but I think that some people still believe that this trend “.

; role of good quality, excellent color reproduction, and the wide variety of art represented in this magazine are useful for both the artist and collector.

ARTnews takes pictures of readers: the paper is high quality, ink stains after a couple of readings, there is plenty of “outsider art ‘in advertising and a lot of competitions, schools, etc. Most of the awards seem emphasize tickets to artistic, and information seems weighted to art exhibitions out of focus. But there must be some reason is out there, despite the competition. ARTnews is a quick read, a lot of things coevers happemn between it and seems to be more relevant to the work artsts that weapons collectors and museums.’s fine: the art world is strange enough in its objectives of calculation (if not obvious!), and this diary appears to satisfy the casual collector magazine. The writing, contributing editor, is definitely improving and some of the criticisms are very eloquent. A good business magazine art

In other reviews no one said it was important cross ARTnews research and reporting, also to the restitution of works of art stolen by the Nazis. They have followed similar lines in a long time. I do not think any other magazine has proved a liability. They have tried but failed to cover the art of the nation or the world as a whole, rather than sooooooo much of New York. This could almost be too much of a challenge as the art world continues to grow and out, and so much of what is available online.

I am a practicing artist and give this magazine 3 stars, if you sent me once. When I signed ArtNews March, I received the February issue, followed in the next two weeks of April and March (in that order). Huh? So I called customer service and requested a refund, it is important for me to have current information on the art world. The woman offered a refund (but only on issues not received.) Two months later, in July, I have the June issue. again, eh? After canceling my subscription, I signed a new one for art in the United States in September. I called twice and has not been a problem. . . and three days before Christmas. Artforum ArtPapers or stick.
